I keep my UFO, and WIP in art bins with handles- one case per project.. I buy them at Joannes on sale or w/ coupons.. seems to keep me from using the fabric by mistake on another project..

My jelly rolls are also "dust bunny friendly"...or were, as I am trying to at least make all of the stuff I do have stay nice long enough for me to actually use it! I just love all things to do with quilting, and it is so easy to see something, think how pretty it is, and then gather things to make it...not so easy to finish them all...but that is exactly what I am really working on doing!! I need to go to a "Quilter's anonymous" meeting!...or rather a "Have good intentions to quilt" anonymous meeting!...If I could get the free motion quilting thing down, I know it would go quicker...but I seem to revert back to my old hand-quilting ways...Don't get me wrong, I love hand-quilting; but I really want to get the fmq down, and get a lot of my pieced tops quilted!!
Take care all,
Kif

Hi and welcome Genny! Also janjanq, I Will post a link to the comic book backing boards where I bought them. They are sold to put in with collectible comic books, to keep the book from bending, etc. They are acid free, so that is good for the fabrics. A lot of us use them to wrap our fabric stash around, to keep them nice and neat. I bought 2 packs, some of them I cut in half to wrap fat quarters and smaller yardages on. I then fold under the end of the fabric and secure with bobby pins that I also bought on Amazon. There are cheaper bobby pins on Amazon, the Conair brand, I ordered those 1st, but they don't hold at all..the others are super strong and great to hold the fabric instead of using pins..I got this idea from my local quilt shop. Following are the 2 links:
http://www.amazon.com/BCW-Current-Co...7703622&sr=8-1
http://www.amazon.com/Marianna-Bobby...7703699&sr=8-4
Good luck, and thanks all!
Kif
PS Thanks wolph33!

Really wish the pics were bigger. Having a hard time seeing everything with my eye condition.
Where did you buy your bookcases at?

I'm sorry so long in replying, didn't realize I had more replies on my quote...I am still trying to get the pics bigger, I don't know what I'm doing wrong, I change the size to the max pixels qb allows, this is what I get...In answer about the shelves, my dh built them!!! He really is amazing, I am blessed!! I will keep trying to get the pics bigger, promise!

Ok, did I miss something, or did you say "ROOMS"? That sounds really nice. Looks good, too

..lol...You are right, I said rooms...lol...I have one that is mainly fabrics, and one that has my sewing machines, cutting tables/ironing board combo, machine quilting frame, quilting design wall, thread, ruler, and book organizers, etc. I have taken new pics with more progress, plan to post them either this evening or tomorrow...think I finally have posting them larger down to size (bad pun intended...)
Regards,
Kif
