Default A year on....

Last year my husband very kindly converted our small room into a sewing room..... It is a really small room so we ripped everything and after a visit to ikea set out kitting it out.....we needed a bed settee so that if guests come we can use it as a bedroom.......which we have done a number of times. It is great. We didn't fix the unit top to the base cupboards so when guests come the top goes up against a wall....the units all budge together and the bed gets pulled out......and it still looks tidy.
I have had it for a year now and it is a wonderful room. It is really easy to keep tidy which I try to do after every project....as I said it is a tiny space but I love it
I only have my Janome out at the moment but I can fit either my embroidery machine or overlocker on the unit too....so as much space as I need.

Nice and tidy sewing space! I really like the brown woven pull out baskets.

You did a great job on your room. I can see why you like it so much.

Beautiful! So nice and neat. I wish we had an IKEA store around here.
