And believe it or not, I've even seen those curly little spring shaped pins at the grocery store in the little tiny hardware section. (I know, I couldn't believe it either.)

I like the idea of a chair pocket! If you made the fabric much longer you could go under the cushion and have a pocket on the other arm of the chair. Two for one chair (more is better. Thanks for the link and idea.
