Default Good use for Peels

Besides using "Peels" for their intended use (which is to wrap them snuggly around spools of thread to prevent run-away ends), I found them very helpful to sort of "clip" my strips onto the sides of a shoebox while I'm sewing.

I'm making a log cabin quilt, and of course that require a lot of variety of colors and lengths of fabric.
My other methods of trying to keep track of 6 neutrals and 12 or so colors were getting on my nerves.

A huge lid for a storage tin makes a great temporary holder for my long strips.

But for the shorter ones?
Peels to the rescue!

They are so cute! I had not heard of them before.

I had a small clothes drying rack that I used at one time - but then my cat decided that it would be great fun to climb on it.

Good thing you included a picture because I didn't know what they were either.

The bottom picture looks like a play pen for fabric.

What a great idea! You can get 60 for a lot cheaper than the price of 12- do I need another new thing??? Hmmmm......
