Looks wonderful. It isn't often we in Western Washington have to wait for the weather to get cooler to paint! So many years we had to wait for it to be dry enough to paint!lol A hot one this year for sure.

Updated with final furniture arrangement
I have added a second metal shelf and moved other pieces around. I moved the tall oak cabinet to another area of the room (basically outside of my sewing area) to a space where there is room for the drop leaf table inside of it to be lowered. Where it is now, I can open it if I want to work on jewelry making, and keep mostly jewelry making supplies in it (also much of my photography gear). Then I moved my glass door cabinet to where the oak one had been sitting and added the new metal shelf where the glass door cabinet had been previously.
I also added some nice casters to a short piece that houses printer paper, etc. which is repurposed from eons ago, so even though it sits in front of the new metal shelf, it can be rolled out of the way easily. I've configured the new shelf to house my server and travel machine on one shelf, and the embroider arm of my Dream Machine on another shelf.
And the final touch is the addition of a small DV and Smart DVD/Blueray player so I can watch Netflix or Craftsy classes, etc. in my new space. Oh, and a fabulous bright red retro garbage can that was almost entirely paid for with store credit which I earned with my metal shelving purchase at the Container Store.

By the way, the window to the right just opens into our TV room. It is the opening from when that was the back wall of our house, before this new room was built. We put glass back in it when we used this room as a bedroom three years ago during a main floor remodel, as a sound barrier.

And just for fun - check out the website I'm visiting
