What a wonderful idea for thread storage. I might have to do something similar to that. I think a larger top and lower as I am short and use it for a cutting area and pattern on one side and thread on the other. hummmmm

I want one.... I used to sew for the public and so I have 4 cones of thread of every color in the rainbow. Right now they are on a peg board on the wall and it really looks tacky as I have put each cone in a zip lock to keep the dust off the thread. I really like this idea as it keeps the light and dust off the thread and it's nice looking.

You could market these!!!!!!!!!!!! Some for cones, some for regular size cones, ------ various heights ------ some for sitting on floor, some sitting on cabinet top.
