I am so sorry for your loss. I know you will enjoy using her stash and thinking of her as you do. The yo yo quilt is a great idea.

I am so sorry for your loss. A sister is so special! When I read your comments I could imagine your sister answering you back! :-) I'm sure she is delighted that you are finishing something special for your niece. Enjoy this sweet gift and your happy memories.

Sometimes the best way to get closure and remember them is to touch what was theirs and talk to them about all your hopes and dreams. Sorry for your loss.

Sorry for your loss. But going through all your sis's fabrics and talking to her all day sure helps! Good for you - and I look forward to seeing that quilt - and your sewing room!

I too got all my Mom's craft supplies. Most fit into a dresser that came along with everything. She only made one quilt in her lifetime, but made lots of other crafts: needlepoint, cross stitch, sewing of clothing. Stuffed in this dresser also are supplies from my Dad's watercolor painting and lapidary hobbies. I have used some of her embroidery floss.

I'm so sorry to hear about your sister. I lost my brother 19 years ago, and I still hear his voice. I miss him terribly. What a wonderful blessing to have her fabric to remember her by. Have fun remembering her. Gina
