It looks practical and that is what you need. Nicely done!

I am 69 and have had a sewing and room for about 8 years. I raised my 3 children and 4 grand children. I had one sewing machine in the corner of a bedroom and I was very grateful and blessed. I wouldn't trade those memories for anything.

You sound like a wonderful person and your kids are lucky to have a mom like you. Lovely space and keep up the great work.

Welcome from another homeschooler! I'm almost done, one married, one in college, and one a semester away from graduating. I too, have a small area. One day soon after one more moves out, I will have my own room. Many blessings on your days educating your babies!

You are an amazing women...7 kids, home schooling and quilting. I could never have done it with 3 kids and no home schooling. I did some sewing when they were little, but not much. When the youngest went to Kindergarten I made one large quilt for 4 years for the schools fundraiser. That was it. Lucky children to have a great Mom.

Looks like a nice space to sew and the added benefit is that you have the kids around you, I think it is good for children to see their parents doing creative work!

It certainly looks like all the important quilty things are there. It's cozy. I'm truly impressed that you manage 7 children, homeschooling and all other mom duties and find time to quilt. God bless you!!!

Nice space! When I had kids at home I either sewed at the kitchen table or in the first house had a card table sitting in my bedroom and hauled out the ironing board when I sewed. Your day for a separate sewing room will come!
