It's small but it is "My Little Heaven". I went from raising 3 kids and sewing on the kitchen table to all kids married and moved out and having a room of my very own. I am very blessed and I do not take that for granted. I am so very thankful for all I have. Enjoy.

How large is your room?

Did you plan it all out before moving in? I am going to be moving from my large home with a built for me quilting room to an unused bedroom quilting room in a smaller house. I'm not good at organizing.

10' 2" x 11' 6" plus the closet which, as you can see, I left the doors off for easy access.

No. It just evolved this way. I LOVE, LOVE to organize and arrange things so I am constantly looking for ways to improve or make more room. What you can't see in these pics is that behind my ironing station, I have another set of bookshelves. I was able to put them behind the ironing sation after I put the casters on. I also have shelves under my cutting table against the back wall. They are the perfect height and don't interfer with anything. Then there are the shelves under the tables where my machines are. It's not a very big room so I had to be creative in my storage ideas.

I
I LOVE your Little Heaven. Looks perfect to me. It has everything you need to make beautiful works of art.
My kid's are out too, have been for some time. I downsized to NO YARD work, but always want 3 bedrooms. My downstairs IS my sewing room. Looks about the same size as yours, but not nearly as organized!! I need to follow your lead. I need to figure out a different method to have the machines in the same room. I currently use the dining room too. OH HECK, who am I kidding. My entire downstairs is basically my "sewing room".. LOL
