Enjoy your space, it will be nice to just close the door instead of having to pickup everything when you're in the middle of a project. Won't take long to fill up your closet with lots of to do things. Kitty better check it out while she has a chance. Nice space.

Congrats on finally having a space to call your own! Now you have room to sew and whip up a few creations for your walls, etc.!

I actually put up all of my received swap quilts/stuff, and a baby quilt I made, so the room looks more 'homey'. Looks/feels warmer that way too! I also added a box spring to the bed so it sits higher, and put a nicer sheet set on it. I should probably take new pics!

Yes, it's a thread holder. The top two rows are even smaller to hold bobbins or the smaller spools. Pity it doesn't hold cones though, as I've started using them. It's one of the many odd items I inherited from my grandmother. I got it years ago, and actually used it for keys and stuff until I took up sewing this past August!
