What great tables. You and your neighbor are super clever. I love the windows, if I were a kitty I would be sitting/laying/standing in or by the window.

Not a farm house. Just a small 2 bdrm house in the city limits (Kannapolis, NC) just north of Charlotte NC. The house was built in the 50's and back then they used real wood for doors. They are lovely. I had to remove all paint from the doorknob backing. Glass knobs themselves weren't painted, but had paint splattered on the back side...but still it was a job!! Luckily the knobs are separate from the back frame. I love the keys!! Not the original ones however. I also replaced the painted door hinges. I don't care for paint over switches, hinges, doorknobs, etc.
Thanks for the reminder that I do have special doors!!

I always applaud " A room of ones own." A very nice space to create. Enjoy. Isn't it nice to have a handyman live next door! Lovely windows too.
peace
