Default My Sewing Quilting space

Ok here is my sewing/quilting space. I have reworked it several times. It is small but it works for my neice and I and whoever else happens in. I hope you enjoy it. My husband built the cutting table and mounted the file drawers on it. The two bottom ones store 1-3 yd peices filed on file folders. He also re worked the old buffet which is now my ironing station, with stash storage below folded in drawers. He built and put up the numerous shelves for me. I hope you enjoy viewing the photos as much as I enjoy having the room in which to sew and quilt.

Your sewing room is great. You are lucky to have a husband that can custom build for you. A bit off topic....I noticed you have a Conair Fabric Steamer. I need a fabric steamer and am wondering if you like your Conair?

Love your room - thank you for sharing all the photos. It is so fun to see how everyone keeps their sewing areas.

Wonderful space! You've done a great job at organizing.

JanetM .... I bought a Conaire fabric steamer when they first came out (from QVC - what a mistake) and now rarely use it. Not a complete waste because it has come in handy several times, but wished I had waited and bought it much cheaper. I thought it would replace my iron but not so, my iron does a much better job on most clothing. I have not used it with quilting ... yet.
