Smile My sewing room and refuge!

I have finally had time to reorganize my sewing area since I retired a few months ago. I repurposed a couple of the closet/storage cabinets that were no longer needed in a spare bedroom. I took out the hanging rod and added shelves so now my stash is where I can see it & know what I have. Also a couple of pictures of the rest of the room. My thread is stored in tackle boxes, just the right size for the many embroidery threads I have. Also used 3-Litre "Useful boxes" from Office Depot to store the embroidery designs CD's. Thanks for looking.

Wow, that is quite the sewing room! It looks as though your machine is being attacked by a rather large quilt.

What a great space to sew and create in!Nice that it is so big and roomy. My room must also function as a spare bedroom at times so I have a daybed in there with a pull out trundle underneath. Takes up a lot of room but also a great place for an afternoon nap!
