Have you thought about wearing shoes with some height to the sole? They are currently fashionable and can be very comfortable to wear. If you only need a little boost, that might solve the problem. I just bought a pair of klogs that give me a lift and are super comfortable.

I would suggest...see if the wheels can be removed, legs cut down and wheels replaced. Therefore you will not loose
the beautiful function of this table. I love mine and would take your extra height you don't need if I could. I'm 5'7'' and I have the opposite problem with most things such as mops, brooms etc. I have to hold onto the top ends of them so I don't have to bend forward with my bad back.

I was looking at mine, & IMHO your only option is to remove the castors ( as mentioned several times before). The legs can't be cut down because of the way it was constructed. If it is still to high after removing the castors, your only other options may be to sell what you have & custom build something to suit your height. I know that probably sounds like a lot of work & trouble, but, It's better to do that than not be able to do something comfortably. It's really not that difficult to DIY your own cutting table. I'm sure you have checked out many of the wonderful examples on here. FYI: maybe you need to send a letter or e-mail to the manufacturer & tell them your story. Maybe you can convince them to make a line of tables for petite quilter & crafters. (Good idea, don't you think?) Maybe we should all start a campaign to do this. There has to be more than 1 person with this problem. OK, who wants to start?

I agree I love the tables I just end up using the dining table if I have much to cut as it is lower. You are right we have the exact opposite problem!

Or you can go to the Home Depot or Lowe's which ever your choice and hubby can make you a box to stand on with rollers that lower when you want to move them and raise when you stand on them. if you cut the legs off of your table you will have to keep checking level. I've seen these boxes for around $20.00.
