Default New use for Crystal Light containers

For all Aurifil thread lovers I found a new use for Crystal Light containers (the tall oval plastic containers that powdered packets of Crystal Light comes in). Four spools of Aurifil thread fit perfectly in them. With the label off the container you can see what color thread is inside and it keeps the thread organized and clean.

I've been saving those, glad to know of another idea beside storing TownHouse crackers. Thanks for the input.

I haven't used crystal light....can you show a picture for my visual mind? I may have to start drinking it, lol!

I always think, "I could use these for something" but how many pencil/pen holders does a person need? Thanks for a new idea!

I use them for portable sewing kits for use in the car. I can get my small scissor snips, seam ripper, thimble, marking pen, tweezers, slender thread spool, a few needles and pins in there and even embroidery thread of the few colors I will be using. They are so handy. I love the containers.

I don't use Crystal Light, but I have some of those grated cheese containers. One is filled with safety pins. I open the the little flip cap and pour them out when I am pinning something and later drop them back in, one by one.
