Fabric boards from Home Depot

Ok so you have to cut yourself.. But I found that plastic board in a (I think it was)4x8 sheet for around $11 . Way cheaper if you cut your own.. at 6 inches x 10 inches fabric board . Thats quite a few. i know you lose some inches with the cutting but thats about 72 boards per sheet.. 15 or 16 cents each!!!
I didn't pull it out and I just saw the price on the sticker near the floor. So I am hoping thats what it said. I am happy with my comic boards but for those that aren't I figured this would be cheap way have having something a little sturdier.

I use a rotary cutter I keep just for cutting paper templets, or a box cutter, does need more pressure but sure saves hands from scissors

Sounds great, but are they acid free? I bet not.

I just love my comic boards. I also use the Magazine backing boards (acid free) which are a little larger. 8 1/2 x 11 for the larger pieces of fabric. I have already used 1,000 boards and am about 1/2 way through my stash. I am ashamerd of myself however, I am a fabriholic. I am a member of the lifetime cure club but so far it has only slowed me down.

No idea if they are or not if you are talking about the plastic ones. I didn't think it was an issue.. I know people have used the signs that the politians throw out after an election and I guess I assumed this was the same stuff. It looks like corrigated (spelling) cardboard but its plastic.
