Finally a Way to Store My Machine Needles

2 Attachment(s)
I have struggled with finding an efficient and easy way to store my sewing machine needles and I finally solved this dilemma. I found these small containers packaged in sets of 8 at the dollar store. As you can see, they fit perfectly in the red container and the labels are easy to read. You can fit from a 4 to 6 packages of needles in one container. I have them in a drawer right under my sewing machine. Works great. If I change needles but want to keep the one I remove, I can put it in the container.

All I can say is that drawer is entirely too neat! Great storage idea for any of our small items. Thanks.

I store mine in small tins with hinged lids. I write on the top what the needle is inside.

Those are great! Was it a Dollar Tree store? That's what we have around here. :)

Donna! I believe it was Family Dollar.

This is great, but don't you have to keep used needles separate from new needles, so you know which is which? I have never found a good way to store slightly used needles.

I also hate all those loose bobbin thread tails! Have tried putting a tiny hair elastic over them, but that is too much work! lol
