Hanging rulers
I use an old belt hanger that's circular - it works great because the hook on the top can do a 360!

What wonderful Idea! thanks for sharing!

I hang mine on a screw on the wall. I forget I have some command hangers and should use them. I get tired of patching the holes when I don't need them. For the ones that don't have holes, I use a ruler rack. I do have to move them to move them to get to the one I want to use.

Another idea is using pegboard. You can hang all sorts of stuff on a pegboard. You can paint it to match you room too.

I sew on an enclosed back porch with windows on 3 sides. I put up mini-blinds then put up a curtain rod over them & use shower curtain hooks to hang all my rulers. Works for me

I hang mine on a multi tiered skirt hanger. I guess I should say "hangers" because I have more rulers than one person needs! I think there are 8 clips on each hanger. http://www.amazon.com/Whitmor-6021-1...5778561&sr=1-6
I remember those hangers, during my school age years I had lots of those in my closet. In grades k through 8, we had to wear either dresses or skirts M-Th and Friday was jeans day. I use the Commands hooks also. Some rulers hang on the side of the bookcase that holds up one side of my cutting table. The smaller ones sit in on of those upright letter organizers that sit on a desk. |
Great idea!

I use a clothes T bar stand-free standing and metal shower curtain hooks bent sideways.
