I finally decided to put my fabric on mini bolts. After working most of the weekend and this evening, I'm close to finished. I love it! Hope the pictures attach.....

ksdot417 02-07-2012 06:41 AM

Everything looks so nice and neat. Great job. Couldn't help but notice the little 'mallet' hanging there. Is that for anyone that messes it up? : - )

cat2quilt 02-07-2012 07:43 AM

Congratulations! You have encourged me to do something in my sewing room.

Mariposa 02-07-2012 07:44 AM

Congrats on your "new" closet! Looks terrific!

annthreecats 02-07-2012 08:00 AM

Nice clean up. Looks great.

AnitaSt 02-07-2012 08:27 AM

It's amazing how well those mini bolts work....I now see my stash fabrics and have been using them more than buying new stuff!

gypsylady5 02-07-2012 08:57 AM

Super job!

patski 02-07-2012 09:03 AM

You are going to love this. When I did mine I found out just how much faster I could find what I needed!! Saves money too. Congrats

What a wonderful closet/stash. I have been debating wrapping mine (there's not much), but it sure would beat the short stacks I do have.

Floralfab 02-07-2012 12:46 PM

It looks great. Can I come over and shop.

Ha ha! That is a 'Wacker' (not to be confused with whacker) - if you're having trouble with a multi-seam intersection laying flat, give it a little steam and a 'Wack' - it will lay right down!

bookworm 02-07-2012 04:58 PM

Great job. I think you should do my closet next. ..... Just kidding :)

mighty 02-07-2012 05:02 PM

Looks wonderful, great job.

sewbeadit 02-08-2012 12:25 AM

Great job. I did some of mine up too, I like the look but am running out of space on shelves for them.

After doing Country1, you can come to my house. Great job, that was a lot of work.

Marni 02-08-2012 04:13 AM

Looks great!

Happy Linda 02-08-2012 07:21 AM

That's got to feel good:)

carolynjo 02-08-2012 08:07 AM

The mallet may be to pound seams flat where several come together at an intersection. I have read that some quilters do this to make the problem spot lie flat.

janiesews 02-08-2012 08:35 AM

Looks so nice-good job!

Tartan 02-08-2012 08:52 AM

Isn't it wonderful to be able to see what you have? It looks great.

Judith1005 02-08-2012 09:14 AM

beautiful!! I bet you spend a lot less time looking for things and a lot more time creating. Enjoy the "fruits of your labor"!

Therese 02-08-2012 09:19 AM

That's the idea :-)

Looks good. Have mine wrapped and in 8 tubs just don't have the closet space. DH wants to put the tubs in storage as they now are in a part of our living room. I know that if they are in storage and I can't see them I'll never get anything done with them. Not sure what we are going to do. Happy for you. BrendaK

almond 02-08-2012 02:26 PM

Very nice and so organized! Enjoy!

VivianW 02-08-2012 04:39 PM

Wow - great job - what are mini-bolts?

normasews 02-08-2012 06:50 PM

I recently did mine in mini bolts too and love it. I feel like I'm at the quilt shop everytime I open my closet door. Enjoy all your hard work of folding and wrapping them in the boards.

Treasureit 02-08-2012 06:56 PM

Aren't they great! I loved it after I did this with mine...now I have more fabric and no more room to put them. Better start sewing more.
