Great room.

anniesews 01-13-2012 04:45 AM

You actually have more than one sewing room? I am jealous.

XYZ123 01-13-2012 04:59 AM

You have a wonderful space to work and create in.

Sewze 01-13-2012 07:10 AM

I love your idea of using curtain rods to hold up your clamp cords on your LA. I'll have to give that a try....just hate them getting hung up. I also have two sewing rooms-----actually, two houses! My LA and some of my fabric are located in an empty farm house on our property and my embroidery, serger, and other sewing machines and other fabrics are in our main house, for easy access. Thanks for posting your pictures.

You've got it going on girlfriend. Don't you just love that tile floor, swifter and no more strings. That is what I have in my room too. How long have you been doing longarm? I just started in March and can't get enough of it. Your room is cozy and neat and inviting. Happy Quilting.

use of curtain rods/longarm

Here is another thing to do with those curtain rods........attach to sides (2) of cookie sheet with screws...(any kind) and then you have made a "caddy" to keep on the end of the take-up rollers for cut thread keeper (I use paper coffee filters), basket for scissors, markers, ( a few pieces of chocolate)--whatever.......I have seen those made of wood for a high price, this works just as well for a lot less $$$$$!!!!

suebee 01-14-2012 07:12 AM

Wow very nice! Im curious what type of machine is your longarm?

rekrug 01-14-2012 07:51 AM

Mine is a Mega 18 (Tin Lizzie) on a 12' Grace aluminum frame. Also think your tray idea and curtain rods a great idea! Anyone else have great ideas for the LA's?

joey 01-14-2012 10:09 AM
