Reorganization of my sewing room
 

By a chance encounter, and conversation I battered for the services of a professional organizer. Trust me I could never had accomplished this without Beth's help. She made suggestions and jumped in to help me make them happen. I spent days decluttering before our first appointment, and wrote my goals down. I had a picture in my mind and by golly Beth made it happen.
I will share a few before and after photos. PS. I have not had time to get there and make any mess yet, LOL.

Pictures don't show how really awesome it looks. I also have a new design wall, I waited for years for. Love my DH for going to Home Depot for supplies and putting it up for me. All the room I have and it is filled 6 x 6 foot, LOVE it..

OH how wonderful your "new" space looks!!! Think of all the things you can "create" in there now without the clutter. I also recently reorganized and bought all new furniture for my studio and I am loving my new space too!! Congratulations. You'll love it.

Very nice! You 2 done a great job. I wish I had a sink in 1 of my hobby rooms.

Looks great! I don't let my room get to cluttered as I can't work in a mess. I did take out a couch and put in an old table for when I quilt a quilt and have room to have it lay without hanging. I need to do more work and yours looks great. Keep it organized - ha - ha

I'm sure you will find you are more productive in your organized sewing room.

Yes, i think she does. She mentioned she was waiting for a client to get the funds to fly her to Alaska:)
I could not have done this without her! I would get so far and hit a mental block, "what do I do now, where do I put this now"

Part of the problem is I teach in there twice and week and have to clean off the table so I would pile all my projects on the counter. There are other areas in the room I did not post, trust me they went from just as bad to looking good and need to be perfected. Now I try to pick up every little item either as I leave or first thing when I go in.

Looks so great. And I love the quilt you have hung on the wall. Sometimes we just need a little boost!

I love it! Mine used to look like that but now it looks like your "before" pics. Heavy Sigh.

Organizing is very easy to do!!! I do it all the time. My only problem is it never STAYS organized!!!!!

Looks like there is hope for me. Your before pictures looks like my sewing space. I will start to organize today. Love the space. It was worth every penny your spent on paying the professional organizer.

I'm still trying to find a good time for my Professional Organizer (it was a gift!) to come. In the meantime, I just "pretend" to organize by moving stuff from one place to another!!
