Wow! Love before and after pictures. What a difference. It amazes me how much easier it is to design and really make use of a stash when it is organized like that.

Yes, in the short time I have had it finished I have been able to put fabric together so much faster and easier. And I found some kits that I put in my kit drawer that I forgot I had. Hope to be much more productive.

Surprisingly, it only took me a couple nights after work and one weekend. I think I was motivated because everytime I did one color I was anxious to get on to the next color because I liked the way it was looking.

Those magazine backs are nice. I use those for at least a yard or more. If smaller I have those on a different shelf, laying on theirs sides but still wrapped around backs. Strips go into file boxes or clear shoe boxes with label colors marked. Still getting rid of stuff DH doesn't need to make room for my needs. His is junk. The sewing room is open and when I asked him if he could move or if I could throw it out, I received no answer. I took that as a yes and did what I wanted and threw things out. I have the magazine backs and they really keep things looking nice. Hitting some estate sales and other fabric sales to build my stash. Need more thread also.

Has your fabric storage space been increased because of the vertical placement of your fabric? Looks so neat and organized. Thanks for sharing.

I do feel like I have space for more fabric. Oh darn, looks like I will have to go shopping. LOL Some of the space I gained is due to the fact that I got rid of some fabric and cut others into tumbler shapes for a scrap quilt. Prior to the reorganizing, I had oddly folded single pre-quilted fabric I have since used for the backing of placemats and some flannel I have used for the backing of baby bibs. I find having gone thru my fabric I now know better what I have - especially odd fabric for a quick project.
