Repurposing mobile file cart
3 Attachment(s)
As usual, the sewing room is a work in progress. I no longer needed this mobile hanging file cart for my home office so after brainstorming, I thought it would be a great way to store bolts of fabric and bolts of Pellon. My husband cut a piece of laminate for the top.

It's just the right size for the bolts. Glad you could repurpose it.

That's very clever, Sandy. And so, so practical. Well done.

What a great idea.

This is a great idea.......
|
This is the original purpose. You can hang file folders on this for your patterns, etc.

Great job of repurposing.

Great re-purposing idea!! I will have to keep an eye out for something similar in my wanderings. Thanks for sharing.

Great idea! Of that's a quilter for ya. LOL Seriously though, it is amazing of all the neat ideas of repurposing items that quilters and those around them come up with!

Another excellent idea!! Way to go!

Thanks everyone! I have been quite pleased with this brainstorm. No more crawling on my knees to get to my bolts of stabilizers and fusibles that i was storing under the bed.

I love re-purposing, most of my house is furnished in re-purpose pieces, mainly because I love the challenge. I just recently picked up a old galvanized feed bucket for free, its getting spray painted yellow to use as a trash can in my sewing rm. You were very smart to come up with something so useful. Thanks for sharing.
