Have you checked out some of the great wheeling carry bags designed for scrapbookers? I have two of them and use them for qwuilting as often as i use them for crop parties.

I imagine that tutto's embroidery module case would do the trick, but would like to ponder other options that aren't quite so spendy. ideally, it would zipper close or not be a tote bag <g>.

thank you all so much!

sewing tote

years ago I purchased a file cart on wheels from the local office supply store. I use it for everything. I made a ironing mat like on Missouri Quilt Co and it sits on top. I can get all of my supplies in this cart. I use plastic boxes that either sit inside or on top of the tote. It is handy for groceries, books to library and especially to sewing meeting.

After shopping and researching online, I bought a Stanley Fat Max Mobile Workstation.

It has LOTS of room for everything I take with me.. and then some!
My Viking Rose, along with my 15x15" rotating mat and 16" square ruler will fit in the bottom compartment.
If I'd rather take my FW, the case and all fit in the bottom compartment.

The middle section has removable dividers for different configurations.
One of the larger items I store in this section is my iron and extension cords.
I also keep a ton of notions (bobbins/needles/pins/thread,etc)here as well.

The top section reminds me of a standard toolbox with a removable tray.
Again, LOTS of room!
