Sounds like you have a son like mine - he can build anything! What a wonderful gift from him. Enjoy your new room.

Pictures when completed will be appreciated. I love the idea of horizontal roll storage for your batting. I'd love that too. Won't ever happen at this point for me as my sewing studio is in full view of the kitchen, family room and front entrance of our home. Not aesthetically pleasing enough. Maybe with some artwork covering it... who knows. Pics though...

what a lucky Gal! whatever it may look, enjoy everything, to have a studio or room for what you enjoy. To have a son, so wonderful to help with this endeavor.

Update: almost finished, but not quite. Shelves are up, batting is hung, but the work top to hold the serger and embellisher has to be done...then I can start moving stuff in!

Just found out the shelves under the batting is exactly the height I need for a table top to put my serger and embellisher on. Yea!

Next photos will be of finished room, so I won't be posting for a week or so.
