It does look like a quilt shoppe, I'm envious. Nice fabrics too. Thank you for sharing.

They are acid free cardboard boards that originally made to use by comic book/magazine collectors that are used to keep the comic book/magazine flat. You can view them on Amazon.

I've put my most frequently used stash on boards (blenders and what I call my "rainbow" stash) and really love it! It is so easy to see what I have and so easy to maintain. I'm totally sold on it. Just looking at your beautiful fabrics makes me happy for you!

It has been awhile since I did Part I of my reorganization. Guess I should get busy with the next section, but I'm having too much fun pulling fabric from my stash making stuff. Retiring in 26 days! Then I should find time to do the next section!

How big is your room? What is the size of your bookcases?

My room is approximately 20 x 32. The bookcases are the standard type you can get at Mernards etc that you put together. Easy to put together - I did it myself with the doggies watching wondering what I was doing with a screw driver.

Congratulations on your upcoming retirement! I'm like you... I organize in segments because to do it all at once is too overwhelming (then I never get started!) and I get so anxious to sew after playing with my fabrics. Most of mine is in drawers and I just feel happy every time I pull one open to look for fabric!
