    Very nice work..... It will be such a treasure knowing he made it! My Dad did a lot of wood work too. I still have a lot of his things... 2 cedar chests (1 made for my Mom: she's in nursing home, 1 that was my MamMaw's, 2 heart shaped spool holder(I found 1 in my son's garage, so I just brought it home (don't think it was missed) , a paper towel holder, TP hold (in shape of outhouse), a paper plate holder, 2 end tables, a gossip bench. Seems younger generation don't appreciate these things. He made my S & D, when they married a potato bin, paper towel holder, paper plate holder that they don't use. Guess they think they're out dated?.. One day tho.....
