What are you using for heat and cooling? Is it coming from the house or will you have a separate unit for that space?
Commercial short pile carpeting does survive well - I have some in our basement - over concrete - and it still looks good - except for where I dropped the iron and fray check got on it.
Will you have any drop down extension cords or floor outlets?
Ay high on the wall outlets for TV? are you putting some of your outlets 30-36 inches off the floor? I have some that are that high - and I love them - don't have to crawl on the floor to use them.

we will have two registers that will put air out there. we will close off in winter time because the cement has heat
in the floor. we will see what the cement floor looks like after he gets it polished up. but we would put down laminate
. other wise use area rugs and just the polished cement our outlets are 2 1/2 feet from the floor and we have a fan and
we have two outlets coming down from ceiling over my sewing machines.
