Default Sewing table - ideal hight

Hi,
I´m remodeling my small sewing room. I will have only one table 227*80 cm (aproximatelly 89*31,5 inch).
Do you know what is the ideal height of sewing and cutting table for small person 160 cm (5,2 ft)?

Thank you for you help.

I found out that a "normal" table height was too low for me so I built some "hightening" for the cutting mat which can be removed when I need the whole table!! if you want to have a look:

It makes the cutting mat about 10 cm higher and that's for me enough to cut without getting a back which hurts...

Egonomically, I think one should be able to have both feet flat on the floor and sitting comfortably, have a 45' angle of their elbows when both hands are on the bed of the machine. I'm 5'3" and with my Bernina 440 acrylic table the height is 29". I couldn't find a sewing table or cabinet that was low enough. I bought an ECR adjustable youth table and absolutely love it. I don't feel like my chair is going to roll away from the foot petal and my shoulders aren't all hunched up. I am able to sew for hours now.

I've read that your cutting table should be no higher or lower than 3" below your elbow. I have no "measurements" on the sewing table though. I just have a regular "office" desk for sewing and a separate cutting table.

I heard that your elbows should be bent at a 90 degree angle when sewing. If standing when cutting, table should be higher than when you are sitting at it and cutting or working at it when sitting. One needs an adjustable chair for sure. It all depends on how tall you are.

I purchased an adjustable office chair for sewing and liked it so well, I got more for other sewing machines. You should try onee. Most times they are avaliable at thrift stores for a reasonable price.

I am 5 ft. and have always had a problem with the table my 401A came in so I bought a adjustable chair for it. I also have a adjustable cutting table and sewing table for my other machines.

My table is a kitchen/dining table. When I need height for cutting, I have a set of 4 bed risers that I put under the legs of the table. It works out well for me and I am 5'2".

I'm 5'2" and the ideal table height for me when sitting and sewing is 28". When cutting, my kitchen counter island height works well.
