I want to share something I came up wth today...

I've been organizing my sewing studio and decided to make use of some vertical space for storing all those patterns and quilting designs I've drawn on freezer paper. So...I made this today and tacked it up beside my new quilting table. Seems like this would work well for other things on rolls like embroider stablizer too...

I used quilting fabric and Timtex to make this. The back is one pannel of Timtex covered with fabric on both sides. I made tubular slings of quilting fabric also stiffened with Timtex and sewed them across the top to the back pannel. The whole thing is about 36" long and 20" wide.

A smaller version would work wonders for the mess of interfacing and stabilizers and fusibles I have all over the place. I always end up buying more because it's easier than trying to find the right product - and forget about finding the instructions with it.

Great idea! Thanks.
