I like the racks from accuquilt, but I won't buy from them now unless it's a die I just can't simply live without. And then I'll think twice. I like the idea of the garbage can! Baskets4daze, do you have a picture of your dies on a pegboard?

I don't have too many dies... I store them in one of those plastic containers on a shelf. It has nice snap handles that are quite sturdy so I can lift it without worrying about the box falling apart. And the box is full so it keeps me from buying more dies.

I just ordered the Accuquilt Go. Haven't got the machine yet, but have received a few of the dies I ordered. Some of the dies are HUGE! Our JoAnns has some of those storage bins for wrapping paper on clearance. Do you think they would work for storing those long dies? Should I put some memory foam in the bottom of the bin?

I don't like anything that looks clutter-y and I prefer my surfaces to be clear, so I have an oak shelf that is thin and fairly deep that fits mostly under the hangover of my cutting table (maybe 8-12 inches). The dies slide into the shelves so you only see the labeled ends.

I only have about 6 dies. The strip die I stand up between 2 cabinets. The smaller ones are in a short trash can. My cutting mats I hang in the closet on a belt hanger - a large circle so I can easily take the one off I need.
