Default Storing Embroidery Module

Hi! I was wondering how you guys store your embroidery module when not in use. I have a Bernina 430E and usually keep the module in a Tutto case in the floor. I like to keep it handy but dont have anywhere to keep it atm. I am looking into upgrading my sewing cabinet and was wondering about those embroidery module hooks that the Fashion Cabinets of America has. Thanks!!

I don't know about the cabinets with the hooks. I keep mine in the closet in my craft room. I have one shelf I'm using for embroidery things. I have a large closet with 2 sets of double doors, so I have a fair amount of room. Also, my quilting stash is not very large.

I keep mine on my sewing table -- it is a huge one so it does ave room on the top. I would really like a different space for it though. Guess I need to use up enough fabric to free up a shelf in the closet!

I keep mine on a shelf in the closet. It is a 7' x 7' walk in closet. There is a part of it that has 16" deep shelves, where I keep it in the Bernina case on the shelf with the hoops and all. I have a 440 so it is the same embroidery unit.

I have the Janome 12000 so mine stays attached to the back of the machine. Very convenient and not in the way at all

I rarely take mine off, it is made to sew with it on or off. I do have a case for when I travel or in the rare times that I sew with it off. When I had the Viking Ruby, I only bought the case for the emb arm and fit the machine in a case from Joanns. I wanted it protected since I knew it would be easy to break or misalign. My Diamond Deluxe came with a case, well actually 2 cases. There was a special when I bought mine that included free cases for both parts and it already came with the case for the arm. The store offered to try and sell it for me but since at that time they all were coming with them no one needed it so it sits in the closet.

Me too. And that's one of the reasons I purchased my janome. Was tired of storing something the size of a piece of luggage

Although I must admit I very rarely use the embroidery unit. I thought I would use it to quilt quilts but for the donation quilts I make it is much easier and more appropriate to just use a decorative stitch and get it done and move on to the next one.
The machine does a gorgeous job and the possiblities are endless that you can download from sites. But I just don't find I use it.
Sometimes I think about selling it and at least getting some of the value back out of it.
What kinds of things do others embroider?
