Default Well, he SAID to organize my stuff...

DH kept getting on me about having my 'craft crap' everywhere. (various stuff, not all sewing).

So I fixed it!

We have a walk-through pantry/laundry room that leads to the garage. I took half the shelving space, and made it my craft storage space. It's close to the kitchen (I use the kitchen island and table for cutting/sewing anyhow) and out of sight when we have company.

I've never been so organized!

Looks a very good use of pantry space - who needs food?!?

LOL, the other half is food. We just never buy enough at one time to fill both sides anyway. We only go shopping every two weeks (and as needed in between) and it's for those two weeks usually; we typically don't stock up on stuff.

I just organized all my 'stuff' also. We just moved in to a house I have loved and envied for years. It's right next door to the one I grew up in and is all on one floor and handicap accessible. Our old house was a 120 yr old farmhouse with all the bedrooms and the bath and laundry up a steep, narrow stairs. Don't need the handicap part yet but hubby just turned 70 this year and you never know. Anyway, the new house has a 10x12 laundry room with floor to ceiling cherry cupboards on two walls. I'm just bowled over! Took one set of doors for a pantry and one for a broom closet and the rest is my quilting stash and my stamping supplies. Part of the cupboards even have pull out shelves. I am just thrilled with my new house and my new storage space!

What a wonderful move! Enjoy your new house and hope you never need a handicap access.
