Thank you for all the nice comments about my studio. I do love it. I have to confess.....when we looking for a house to move a bit further away from the city (Dallas), my husband did make the comment...."Are we looking for a house to fit that long arm?" And my reply was yes lol.

Havent had to deal with that problem as my room has not been really cleaned and organized. I would probably have a "shock" time out to recover first!

I've only been in mine for around 10 weeks but find it easy to just tidy before I leave each day. At the moment I'm working on 3 quilts. Only thing I can't find yet is my pinking shears. I know they were on my table before I packed up.
I still have quite a lot of sorting to do but am enjoying sewing at the moment. I am still finding it amazing that I had so much packed into my bedroom.
Alexandra, are you not worried having all those bolts sitting under an open window? BTW I love your lovely big space.

If mine ever got neat, I would think about that. I always have the project I'm working on out, as well as the next couple to start! I just can't work in a place that feels too clean!

Wow, such a sizeable room and all that natural lighting (windows). You are well organized. i would hate to mess that up also!!! My 8x8 room (does not include fabric) has tote drawers and shelving from floor to ceiling on three walls. Had to make up a Microsoft Excel spreadsheet to list all the stuff so I don't have to spend an entire evening wondering which drawer or shelf will I find it. LOL Dig in and dirty it up.

Yes, but I'm one of those weirdos that cleans up when I'm finished. When I had an office job, I never left until my desk was completely cleaned off and everything filed appropriately. Now when I sew, everything has to be put away or I can't start the next time I'm working there.
