HI EVERYONE

MY GRANDDAUGHTER IS ALL MOST 4YRS OLD ..SHE COMES OVER AND WANTS TO SEW..SO SHE SITS IN MY LAP PUT HER HANDS ON TOP OF MINE AND HELPS ME STAY AT THE 1/4 SEAM LINE AND NOW SHE HAS FULL CONTROL OF THE REVERSE BUTTON KNOWING WHEN TO START AND END

    I give my grand kid small scrap pieces some glue and paper so he can design his own quilt block.

    wow that must be fun fore them i have lots of scraps i think i will throw them in the air and make something using what she picks up letting her sew them all together.will see just having her make something will make me happy....thanks for replying so 4 not to early.....??????

    Seems like she's developed any early interest in sewing which is wonderful. But, although she may have some control of the machine's features, I would still be cautious about what you let her do on her own. I would still continue to have her sit in your lap to sew just to be on the safe side. What a great opportunity for "together" time...which she will remember and come to cherish when she's older!

    I have full control (she wishes she could do it by herself ) I told her when her feet reach the peddle she can take over. she enjoys pushing the reverse button and telling me I,m off the 1/4 seam line. I tell her hands on hands at all times
