A good friend of mine gave me a copy of an ad on craigslist for a Featherweight table. I called the lady the next morning and made an appointment to meet her that afternoon.

It is beautiful! She has moved from a house to living in an apartment with her son and she had it all packed up. She had it wrapped in bubble wrap and a cardboard box built around it. She then stuffed any empty areas with crumpled newspaper. It was very protected.

It was like Christmas morning to unwrap it. She wanted $120 for it, but took the $100 I offered.

Now to get things organized a little better so I have some room to set it up and put one of my little machines in it. But ... first I am going to have to figure out how to get the insert out so I can drop my machine down into it.
