I'm in Yakima for the summer and wondered if there are any members that get together, or would like to get together and have lunch and visit some shops.

I've connected with Quilting in my 60s, Grannylou, and MelllieKQuilter in Yakima, and also with several others out of the area - Charlee (Redmond), lovequilts (Seattle), GwynR (Spokane), and Cherylrom (Richland) who would love to meet up with someone in Pasco and drive in.

So...anyone else out there interested in getting together?

Hi my name is Kate. I live in Kennewick(Pasco area). I work all day so no time to meet. Just wanted to say make sure you visit the Sewing Basket in Prosser. It is incrediable and the lady the who owns it is the BEST. She has a huge collection of fabric. Also Quiltmania in Richland is awesome. My two favorite places. The people are great also. Hope you have a great time.

I love that others know where all the fabric stores are too! I am in Kenmore, north of Seattle and when we head over to Lake Chelan I always make the caravan stop in Leavenworth so I can visit the quilt shop. Sadly, the wonderful shop on main street in Cashmere closed a few years ago. My husband & I were on Maui in May - hit all the fabric & quilt stores (3 on the island that I know of) and had to pay for an extra suitcase to get the fabric home :) Shannon
