Default Anyone from Holland Michigan on Quilting Board?

I'm going to be visiting Holland, MI after Thanksgiving visiting my son. I checked on line and there are quilt shops around Holland and Grand Rapids. Just wondering if anyone has information for a quilter and where to go. Maybe can meet a quilter and have coffee. If so a person can PM me or just post on board
Thanks

If you have time, make the trip over to East Lansing to visit Country Stitches. It is worth the drive!

I live SW of Lansing and depending on when you will be here, could meet up with you.

There are a number of lovely shops in Grand Rapids beyond the chain fabric stores. I live in the Kalamazoo area and we have some fine shops also. GR is a little closer to Holland. There is one shop in Plainwell, Michigan that is closing its doors soon. The name is Dancing Dogs. Plainwell is about an hour from Holland just off of Highway 131. They may have some deals.

The Queen Bee Quilt Shoppe in south Grand Rapids will be open Friday from 10-8 and Sat 10-3. It is in Cutlerville (68th and Division area) - very easy access from Holland. 6712 Division.

I live in Muskegon, MI. I love to visit Fabric, Quilt, Scissors in New Era, MI. Another good quilt shop is in Montague, MI. I love to go to Field's Fabrics in Spring Lake. They have just added a big quilt section.

This information is great for my next trip to visit my hometown. I pass by exits to all three towns on my way to Ludington.

We have several gals from Michigan, wouldn't it be wonderful to all meet at a central location sometime for lunch and go fabric shopping, If we picked a date far enough in advance maybe we could get quit a group.
