Several of us have been talking about getting together sometime on Columbus Day weekend? Kooklabell, one of our members is traveling that weekend from New York state to Rockport, MA, and ahs been talking to me and ICU_FOSTERMOM about getting together. Would anyone else like to join us?

The suggestion has been made to meet at a LQS in Salem, NH....

"For a quilting get-together, I suggest Pine Tree Quilt Shop in Salem. They have a classroom that can be rented for a few hours for pretty cheap! Plus the store is just plain FABULOUS.

But if some are traveling and coming into the area, they would not necessarily have their machines and WIP's with them.

A restauant idea is Outback on the Tyngsboro/ Nashua border."

Excellent suggestions; anyone else have a suggestion for a meeting place. We don't necessarily have to stay in one spot; i.e., we could do a mini-shop hop. There are several excellent LQSs that I can think of, off the top of my head.

So, what do you think? Seems there are at least three of us who would like to get together. Anyone else interested?

One of the best! There's also D&D Sewing in Plaistow and ??? (name escapes me) in Pelham.

Oh, and nearby Quilted Threads in Hennniker is the Apple Tree shop in Hillsboro.

I'll be thinking about this. Please keep us in the loop. I'm about 2.5 hours away from Henniker, near Hillsboro where our church camp is.

Oh, yes, I may be able to join you! Maybe, maybe! A shop hop is a great idea!

1. Candlelight Quilts, Chelmsford, MA
2. Head north 15 miles or so, hit the Quilted Shamrock in Hudson, NH
3. Head east just a little bit and go to Bits N Pieces, Pelham
4 Head east just a little bit further and to to Pine Tree in Salem.
5. Get on the highway, head north and hit Martin's and then the Quilt Patch, both in Bedford.
6. Then, head about 45 miles north and west to Henniker.

I'll check back frequently.
