Hello! I had to look Magna up. It looks like we are not too far apart! So far we have six people. Most of you I don't know much about. I do know that Gwen doesn't drive--and she is the furthest one out. I have a very hard time diving much distance, due to health problems. So maybe we could start thinking about this. When we meet do we want to do a small gift exchange, requiring it to be something we have sewn, but simple, not like a full quilt, more like a book bag or small wall hanging. Do we want to meet at a resturaunt or a meeting room in a library? What days are good for you?

I'm pretty flexible normally. Next week I'm out of town but after that I'm good. I can drive any distance really as long as I'm back in time to pick up DD and DH from school and work. We only have one car running right now!
As to where and gifts...I'm open to whatever you decide.

My home is Palmyra, New York, so I feel like a Utahn. Also, I lived in a forest ranger's dwelling, up 10,000 ft. on Mt. Timpanogos in American Fork Canyon, right after I was married in Utah. My first son was born in American Fork & am making him a quilt. Does anyone have a pattern for Timpanogos or any other Utah patterns? I have some pioneer ones, and one is a seagull; another is "Utah"; and another is "Salt Lake City," but no Timpanogos. I also have a son & his family who live in West Valley City. Nice to meet you, Miss Retta. Now I live in Rochester, NY.
