Anyone planning on going to Colorfest in Thurmont, MD? It's always the second weekend in October so this year it's the 8th and 9th.
Colorfest is a large craft show over the entire town of Thurmont. They close off streets and provide buses from parking lots. It's a lot of fun, except for the people who actually live in town. My daughter says she is leaving for the weekend. Told her that's fine that gives me a parking spot.lol

Not this year. I live in Frederick, Md and have been many, many times. Love it!

I will be going to the Thurmont Colorfest! We will be camping in Gettysburg and going down to Thurmont from there. Can't wait to see all the quilts and other crafts available.

Another great craft show is Covered Bridge & Arts Festival held at Knoebels Amusement Park in Elysburg PA. Oct.7,8,9
10am to 6pm all 3 days

Guess my last message didn't go thru. Some of the crafters are juried. If you go to the town park, Legion park or the carnival grounds they are juried. The rest are just set ups. The have a few quilters but mostly crafter of all types from magnets to blacksmith.
