Hi,
I saw your post and when I saw Durant, OK - I had to look. My grandfather was born in Durant, OK - in the early 1900's - (06 I think)- I have never been there but was doing family genealogy and found out he was born there and that is also his middle name. Would love to see that area of the country...Teresa

Well you should come to the craft sale and see this part of the country. We have a big beautiful lake, Lake Texoma, it is the 5th largest man made in in the US and we have Lake Eufala it is the 3rd largest natural lake in the US.
We are just 90 miles North of Dallas, TX, so we get to live in a small town and shop in major city it is really nice.

Wish I lived closer. My husband was born in Durant, OKLA in 1938. He has always wanted to go back to see his birthplace.

I know I am off topic but my dad was born in 1938 in Lubbock Texas and my grandfather was born in Durant, OK in the early 1900's - they lived mostly in Paris Texas and I have never been to any of those places - but I am very interested. It really is a small world.

Cari,
I will be visiting in Broken Bow this weekend, 10/8 & 9. Are you close to Broken Bow and, if so, are there any quilt shows and/or shops close by?
