OK, I think we have enough interested in meeting, so we will set this up.

We will meet at 11:30 at Backdoor Quilts on Saturday, Oct. 29. Bring things for show & tell. We will go out for lunch & then I thought we could do some "shop hopping" around the Billings area.

Please PM me if you plan to come. That way I will know how many to plan for & make appropriate lunch arrangements. I would also like to give the quilt shops a "heads up" if we have a large group coming to their shop.

Let me know if you have other ideas. I don't mind planning things, but I would like to incorporate your ideas in the planning!

wish you were coming to the Williston area. I am about 75 miles from there. don't know what they have in the way of quilt shops tho.

Road trip! Hop in your car & come on over! You would drive right by my house to get to Billings, so you could stop here and ride with me! I have a couple of extra beds if you want to come Friday night & make a weekend out of it!

I hadn't really thought about it, although we were thinking about planning one for next spring or early summer. Let me see how this one goes and if there is interest in doing it annually. Maybe we could make it a retreat!!!

arn't you all suppose to have a quilt show somewhere aroound there soon? At least I thought you all were and I was hoping to come that way the 22nd of the month to Helena and stay for the show, am I wrong?

I haven't heard of any. But I don't always hear about them, especially if they are west of Bozeman. I will try to find out.

That'd be what is known as a FART -- Fabric Acquisition Road Trip! (just learned that pearl of wisdom from a topic on this board a couple days ago entitled "uh oh"! Gotta have a sense of humor).
