my quilting class is going on saturday but although it is a great day I went a few years ago and found it too much to get there and back in a day. Hope you enjoy it. I am going to the show at Harrogate on 1st Sept that is always good.

Yes I agree - there is so much to see - so 3 friends and I decided last year that we would go and stay 2 nights in a hotel and go into the exhibition twice --- looking forward to it !!

Have a wonderful time at the shows in Birmingham and Harrogate! I wish I could be there to see my quilts hanging in the exhibition.

Which ones are yours? (I'm guessing there will be more than one 'Andrea') I'd like to look out for them

The one in Birmingham is a spring green wholecloth with Welsh patterns, size is around 72"x72". It's entered in the traditional catergory. In Harrogate you can find a yellow cot quilt with a lot of hand stippling in it. BTW, my name is Andrea Stracke.
Have fun!

Andrea was your quilt Celtic notes in pale colours and thread,. If so I thought it was fantastic and really enjoyed looking at it. It is my kind of quilt but I nearly always end up with darker colours and wished I could do one like yours.
