Default First Look, Second Glance

For those of you who live in Colorado, around Denver, there is a quilt exhibition at the Denver Art Museum that will take your breath away. The quilts are, to put it mildly, just absolutely gorgeous. The age, early to mid 1800, of some of the quilts makes you wonder how anyone could have the patience to hand sew the beauty into the fabric. It is a relatively small exhibit, but my friend and I spent over two hours looking at the stitching and the designs. The exhibit will be here until the 22nd of March so if you live here, or if you will be vacationing here, plan on making a visit. It is worth every minute.
