The show is presented by theOriginial Sewing and Quilt Expo. It is on October 14-16 in Duluth (Atlanta). There is a preday all-day class that is available. There will be tons of quilts to see and vendors galore. IF you go to their site (www.georgiaquiltshow.com) you can see all the classes. I in Knoxville, TN and have a buddy who usually goes with me, but she is unable to attend this year. We usually ride-share and share a room to save on the expenses.

I'll be coming from Knoxville, TN. I am a new quilter also and that is one reason I am going - to benefit from the classes. I am taking the pre-day all-day class on Wednesday and have scheduled classes on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. I have probably over-booked. Not sure how much time I will have to see the show. I have a friend who usually shares a ride and a room with me, but she will not be able to go this year. Are you planning on staying in Duluth? What is your schedule?

I'd love that. I have a morning class and an afternoon class on Saturday, but I could meet you for lunch I'll have between 11:30 and 12:30 to eat, shop and look at quilts. Maybe we could meet at the information desk. I'll have my lap top, so I'll check e-mail during the show as I have time. I think that would be fun.
