I am hosting a get together in May 20-22 and it is in Granbury, TExas. It accomodates 12 people and we have 10 so far. You can come by and visit only or pm me to spend the night. I will give more details as we get closer.

I am going to post all the info soon.

This is at the Quilts Inn in Granbury, TExas , south of Ft. Worth.
You can look it up by going to
houstonstmercantile.com and then look at retreats.

Cost is very good and affordable, less than 100.00.

We will be having food, snacks, fun, and meeting other board members. I wish we had more rooms. But there are 8+ coming by to visit and meet others, and 10 so far staying the weekend.

We have permission by PatriceJ to make badges with the QB on it and such. It's gonna be our First Annual Retreat.

And I did not put Texas because we have 3 coming in from out
of state. California, Pennsylvania, and Colorado. Lots of Texas members coming by though. Time to party!!!!!!!

I may have to have a second one if we get a lot of interest or find a place for more than 12. That's a thought. I will do some checking. *H*U*G*S*

Patricej also said to make it clear that this is NOT a QB sponsored event. And we are not charging for the buttons/pins. That is the only way we can put QB on them.

So, this is going to be a great fun time with friends from the board getting together to meet and greet! Can't wait!

Forgot to mention that. It just happens to be for quiltingboard members who want to meet and quilt and enjoy. Thanks Nancy. *H*U*G*S

I can not wait - won't be spending the whole weekend even though I wish I could. Poor Granbury, may not be the same after this weekend... lol

Sounds like a lot of fun.....I live in Salado and we also have many B&B and I have a farm with a 1500' cottage that is my studio....have been wanting to do the same....wonder if "next time" we could work on it together maybe? We have a fabulous LQS in our little village that would probably help us also.

Just a thought, let me know please if you might have an interest...

We have one more opening to stay the weekend so check quick. But you are welcome to come by.

Hopingtobegood - We will chat. Where is this "village". haven't heard anyone call their town a village so it sounds interesting. I am hoping others in their own areas will find a place to meet. I talked to Amber at Stitchin Heaven and they have a Bunkhouse Retreat and it is 25.00 a night, two night minimum. And it sleeps up to 12 and can be 16 but those extra four would have the upper bunk. LOL. So that's a thought for the next one too. Stitchin HEaven is only 3 hours from me. Just saying.....
