I am going to visit my SIL in Largo, Fla. Next to being excited about seeing her, I would like to go fabric shopping. Any suggestions???

Thanks.

Largo is closest to Clearwater. Country Quilts & Bears is located there. I've not been to that store so I can't tell you anything about it. Here's their website: http://www.countryquiltsandbears.com/

You may also want to check out the Florida Quilt Network. They have lists of quilt stores throughout the state.

There is a wonderful quilt store in St. Augustine that I visited a few months ago. I don't know how close you are to that but if you get a chance, it is well worth the effort. I believe the name of the store was Margrette's or something like that. Have fun!

Yes! I have been to the Clearwater Shop. My son works right down the road so any time i go to visit i have to go "to visit" the fabric. Largo is the next town over from there.
I am so jealous....i wish i were going to! I haven't been to see them since last Sept.

Besides the Country Quilts & Bears( I have personally gone many times) there's also Rainbow's End Quilt Shoppe in Dunedin, FL. This is a must see store, you won't be disappointed!! My DM lives in Dunedin and I go every time I visit.
