The stitch in time quilt shop in Franklin is in the new fall Quilt Sampler magazine. It made one of the top ten quilt shops in the country. I also believe there is another shop near Maggie Valley called The Quilters quarters.Enjoy your trip and say hi to Elva,Judy and Maxine for me if you go to the Stitch In Time.

Oh how I forgot about her quilt in the magazine. Thanks for reminding me. I know she had to buy like a 1,000 copies of it so if you want to purchase one wait till you get there. If my mind is not wrong but Deb has her Cherokee Star that she designed coming out I am thinking in January. We helped Maxine get a couple of quilts down for the show about three weeks ago which was a huge success. Again thanks for reminding me about Maxine's quilt in the mag.

I am with you there girlfriend. No matter what is going on they always have a smile on their face and eager to answer any question and give suggestions. Have you noticed the smocking that Max does. It is beautiful!!!!! How often do you come to Franklin? I live in Jackson County just over the hill from Maxine and Deb. Robin

I'm a bit slow answering, but everyone that's mentioned the quilt shop in Maggie Valley is correct. It's a cute little place. My sister lives in Maggie Valley, and my folks live in Waynesville. This past summer was the first time I've had a chance to visit the shop, and it's really nice. Enjoy!!
