Default Going to Paducah Quilt Show and need a room!!

I just found out my friend made our room reservation at Kentucky Dam Village for April 25th but I am not going to be able to go until Thursday April 26th. Another friend is going with me on that day and I need to find us a place to stay. Does anybody have to cancel a room that day or know any bed and breakfasts? Thanks!!

Yes, I'm hoping to find a room by finding someone who had a reservation but can't go for some reason. I know from last year that most hotels in the area don't let you have money back for that week if you cancel this late.

Grand River KY has a old time motel that we got rooms in couple years ago we didn't decide to go until 2 weeks b4. I could not tell you the name, It is clean but not very modern.. Try doing a google search for Grand Rivers,, it has a wonderful place to eat Patty's Landing... even if you don't stay there try to go there for a meal it is fantastic. This is about 25 or 30 miles south of Paducah, good luck

In Grand Rivers try Lighthouse Landing or Green Turtle Bay Resort, or Patty's Motel which is right off I24. can't think of the name of it right now but it used to be a popular chain and then Patty's bought it. Call the restaurant and I'm sure they can give you the name. Good Luck, you're going to love Paducah!!!

Nothing fancy...but was clean..had a small continental breakfast..the bathrooms are TINY..but how much time do you plan on being in there? LOL I think the quilt show is at exit 4 so it's not very far. HOpe this helps.

Default B & b

There is a bed & breakfast in Benton, Ky. That is about 25 miles from the quilt show. It is called Aire Castle Inn. I know these people and they are super nice. The number is 270-354-5004. If you don't find anything let me know and I can keep looking for you.

If you're driving you will have the option to stay even as far away as Murray,KY. That's only about 40 minutes away. As mentioned earlier..try Grand Rivers Tourism, Harrah's as Metropolis, IL which is across the Ohio River and only 6 miles away. If you're lucky enough to stay in Grand Rivers there is a little quilt show at the Senior Center there. I'll have a couple of quilts in that one as well as an entry in the Paducah Show.

Ask her about any host homes. We got one last minute last year and the people were truly delightful to stay with.
